My mind is sharp, So young at heart. My body aging, falling apart. The days so long, Time ticking by. I sit and wait, I wonder why. Left forgotten, no time for me. I've been there too, Too busy to see. One day soon, I'll be called home. You'll then be, left free to roam.

God’s Gifts
Borrowed from the Maker, this short lived human life. It seems to last forever, filled with pain and strife. Selfish beings we are, to keep the ones we love. to comprehend these precious gifts, are lent from up above. Painful to let go, God calls His children home. Their purpose here fulfilled, it's time to … Continue reading God’s Gifts
The Potter and the Clay
Awake again at 3 am, the Potter on my mind. This lump of clay is marred again, Your hands to mend in time. To recognize how flawed I am, and how wonderful You are. Thankful for Your skillful touch, to be Your work of art. My brokenness belongs to You, to do with as You … Continue reading The Potter and the Clay
The Gift of Prayer

Temporary Defeat

His legs no longer hold him, dependant on his wife. His hands are losing feeling, a little more each day. A … Continue reading Blind Full of Light
The Battle Within
My heart breaks, for the pain you feel inside. Your joy gone, for this you did confide. I see the struggle, the war raging in your heart. I want to help, but I don't know where to start. I ask God, in my prayers for you each day. To help you heal, and take the … Continue reading The Battle Within
