Today the sun shines.
Today the Lord saw fit to wake me.
Today I have another opportunity to …
see the smile on a child’s face.
tell my family I love them.
hug someone who needs it.
the list is endless.

Today I can make a difference.
Today I can show forgiveness, mercy and grace.
Today I can let my light shine.
Today I can love.
Today I can repent.
Today I can change and grow in Christ.
Today He loves me no matter what.
Today I can work on fulfilling my purpose.

I may not know what that is, but He does.
As long as there is breath in my lungs, I have work to do.
Once complete, He will call me home.

Today … what will I do with today.
