My fear is not of dying,
I know where I will be.
My fear is not of poverty,
I’ve been there too you see.
My fear is not of loneliness,
my God is always there.
My fear is not of sacrifice,
This is why I care.
My fear is growing older,
dependant upon another’s care.
My mind still young at heart,
My body decayed from wear.
My fear is living longer,
than my children I so love.
My heart to become broken,
a precious gift from up above.
