Thank you Lord for answered prayer,
the heart so full of rage.
The days they pass we see Your hand,
the progress that You’ve made.

Searching out to reach You Lord,
a yearning in our hearts.
Your loving touch we see now Lord,
as bitterness departs.

Please continue with Your task,
the baggage put away.
Never to be seen again,
As we go Your way.

People disappoint us,
This we must remember.
Faith not in them but in You Lord,
On You our focus lingers.

Fill us with Your spirit Lord,
our hearts be filled with love.
Eyes to see and ears to hear,
Your grace from up above.
