How did I get here?
What did I do?
So many consequences,
for not listening to You.

I read Your word,
I hear Your voice.
Yet still I fail,
like I have no choice.

“Walk with me”, You say
At the start of each day.
Stay focused on Me,
I’ll show you the way.

My intentions are good,
but mistakes I still make.
Your Spirit convicts me,
this I can’t shake.

Please don’t leave me,
You promised You wouldn’t.
I feel so unworthy,
You tell me I shouldn’t.

Thank You Father,
for loving me so.
I’m not giving up,
I’ll continue to grow.
