I haven’t watched the news today,
so much pain and strife
Too much negativity,
taking joy from my life.

The hate I see bothers me,
I cannot comprehend.
How our world has come to this,
Satan has this hand.

But one day soon his reign will end,
the sadness will be gone.
No more pain or suffering, 
God’s children will be home.

My hope is that we recognize,
the hate within our hearts.
While we still have time to change,
replace light where once was dark.

The world progressing rapidly,
as so much hate is spread.
Make the right choice quickly,
eternity lies ahead.
