Singing with the radio,
the music so uplifting.
Singing out of habit,
to the words not always listening.

How often is this done,
each time Im in the car.
Depending on the song,
and if the distance far.

To stop and truly listen,
a message may be found.
As some are deep with meaning,
the lyrics quite profound.

Finding some disturbing,
catchy is the tune.
Wondering about the meaning,
continuing to croon.
